Spatial Practices Book Launch

Edited by Mel Dodd, and published by Routledge, the book explores ‘spatial practices’ - a loose and expandable set of approaches that embrace the political and the activist, the performative and the curatorial, the architectural and the urban.

Engaging with the public realm, the field of spatial practices enables people to reconnect with their own sense of agency through engagement in space and place, exploring and prototyping alternative futures in the here and now.

The book includes 24 chapters with contributions from Mel Dodd, Jeremy Till, Andreas Lang, Alex Warnock-Smith, Oscar Brito, Shumi Bose and Tricia Austin, as well as international practitioners and contributors including - amongst many others -  Jeanne van Heeswijk (Netherlands), Hector (USA), The Decorators (London), muf (London), Estudio Teddy Cruz + Fonna Forman (USA), Daisy Froud (London) raumlabor (Berlin), Ash Sakula (London) and OOZE (Netherlands).
