Urban Projects Bureau undertakes design and research projects that question and redefine the contemporary urban condition. Through the design of public spaces, infrastructure, and strategic urban plans in challenging sites across the world, we have developed a critical and analytical approach to the design and delivery of urban projects. Operating at the boundaries of the discipline, Urban Projects Bureau continues to experiment with different tools and methods through which to intervene in the social, political and economic systems that affect how the city works and how it is experienced. “Urbanism that deals with headline issues” - we believe that urbanism offers a more innovative approach to the pressing issues of our day, than political policy or social and economic strategy alone.
